Tr@p TBK was born and raised in East Nashville, TN in a neighborhood called James Cayce Housing Projects, although Nashville is the capital of the U.S. state of Tennessee and is known for the iconic Grand Ole Opry and the famous Music Row district there are neighborhoods that are not as great as others.

"There are always two sides of a coin and out of that also comes greatness!"

Tr@p TBK music is captivating and driven with passion for his creativity and life.

With every lyric, he tells his story based on his afflictions and courage to elevate out of poverty and oppression.

And unlike some industry rappers, who have never seen the darker side of the streets that they rap about in their music,Tr@p TBK lives in constant battle to have a better life and by any means because life isn't always peaches and cream.

Transitioning from an adolescent to a young adult, Tr@p was facing difficult times and was unfortunately caught up in a violent incident that led to life changing events. He was arrested and was facing a 51 year life sentence and the charges were later dropped to a lesser charge of manslaughter.

This young man has definitely been through alot of challenges and his goals for a better life have improved.

After serving 9 years and 10 days in prison without parole or probation Tr@p TBK decided to pursue his passion for music and moved to Chicago, IL.
