Rod Kirby is a visual storyteller with more than 15 years of experience in digital media production. He tells powerful brand stories using diverse skills in marketing, photography, video production, and multimedia.
Currently, he serves as the in-house videographer at ARS/Rescue Rooter (the country’s largest HVAC and plumbing company). As the organization's "go-to" media professional, he has a direct impact on ARS' brand and media storytelling. He’s responsible for planning, writing, and producing all of ARS' internal and external videos. This includes TV commercials, informative blog videos, sponsored events, executive videos, and more.
Along with his video production duties, he’s also the organization's dedicated photographer for executive headshots, event photography, and other special projects.
Rod is also the owner of Kirby Media Studios, an indie film marketing and production studio. He works with indie filmmakers, producers, and production companies to help produce and market their projects.
Rod recently graduated from Full Sail University with a Bachelor of Science in media communications. He was awarded a course director award, advanced achievement award, and was also his class salutatorian. Rod is currently enrolled in Full Sail’s Master of Science in Entertainment Business program. This program will help him develop the entrepreneurial, leadership, and business management skills needed to succeed in the entertainment industry.
